श॑क॒धूमं॒ नक्ष॑त्राणि॒ यद्राजा॑न॒मकु॑र्वत। भ॑द्रा॒हम॑स्मै॒ प्राय॑च्छन्नि॒दं रा॒ष्ट्रमसा॒दिति॑ ॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठश॒क॒ऽधूम॑म् । नक्ष॑त्राणि । यत् । राजा॑नम् । अकु॑र्वत । भ॒द्र॒ऽअ॒हम् । अ॒स्मै॒ । प्र । अ॒य॒च्छ॒न् । इ॒दम् ।रा॒ष्ट्रम् । असा॑त् । इति॑ ॥१२८.१॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
शकधूमं नक्षत्राणि यद्राजानमकुर्वत। भद्राहमस्मै प्रायच्छन्निदं राष्ट्रमसादिति ॥

Translation -
[N.B. In this hymn by the description of Skakdhuma, star which is concerned with weather the King has been praised for the prosperity of the subjects.] As the stars and constellations regard Shakadhuma as the controller of the weather, so the subject of dominion makes Shakadhuma, the king to govern it. Let this Shakadhuma star give us favoring weather and let the King give us good weather so that this dominion be his ruled state.
