Etymology and English translation based on Anvaya (logical connection of words) of Maharshi Dayanad Saraswati (M.D.S)- -

He=O! (darśata)=1-visible through wisdom 2-physically visible, (vāyo)=Omnipotent, life of all, inner dwelling, God, (tvam) =You in our heart, (āyāhi)=get illuminated, (yena)=those, (tvayā)=your, (ime)=these perceptible, (somāḥ)= earthly substances, (araṃkṛtā)=ornate and in other word decorated, (teṣām)= their, (santi)=are, (tān)=of those, (padārthān)=of substances, (pāhi)=protect, (asmākam)=for us, (havam)=By which Godly power all li living beings have behavior of speaking and listening, (śrudhi)= habit of speaking and listening, you also listen that. (yaḥ)=that, (ayam)=this, (draṣṭum)=visible, (yogaḥ)=able, (vāyo)=in sky physical air is perfect like fire and transports the substances of yajnas to atmosphere, (yena)=those, (tvaya)=your, (saḥ)=that air, (sarvān)=all, (padārthān)=to substances, (śabdavyavahāram)= habit of listening as sound of words, (svagatyā)=by its own speed, (prāpnoti)=gets obtained.

English Translation (K.K.V.) -

O visible through wisdom, omnipotent, life of all, inner dwelling God! You get illuminated in our heart. Those of your perceptible earthly substances are ornate, in other words are decorated. Protect those substances as well. By which Godly power all living beings have habit of speaking and listening. You also listen that.

There is paronomasia as a figurative in this mantra in favour of God and physical air. Just as things created by the power of the Supreme God are eternally adorned, in the same way no one can be saved without the conception of the material air created by God. Just as the Supreme God listens every moment the praises of a living beings through devotion, similarly the living beings are able to pronounce and listen the words because of the material air.
