O President of the assembly! Like you who have light and eyes like gold, whose nature is more pervasive, the four directions related to the land, the earth, the space and the place of light in the three worlds in the four directions and the four sub-directions that bring that rain, are received in the place above, below and in the middle, in which all things are combined, that also specifically illuminates the clear paths near him, which are seven in the count, in the space above the land and space. He is all-beneficent, having the nature of giving charity of knowledge etc. and while possessing beautiful gems, gold etc. acceptable to the performer of yajan, are obtained from all sides. In the same way, being the substances, put them into practice.

TranslaTranslation of gist of the mantra by Maharshi Dayanandtion of gist of the mantra by Maharshi Dayanand -

There is vocal latent simile as a figurative in this mantra. Like this Sun-world the light of all the embodied objects received in space by the penetrating wind and falling down from there produces all the delightful pleasures for the living beings and the waters situated in the earth's upto forty nine krośa (one krośa=1/4 miles) in space are gross, small and huge. That is, the one whose name is Saptasindhu (seven places above earth and space), possesses it with the power of attraction, similarly all the learned people by imbibing all the subjects with knowledge and righteousness, keep everyone in joy.
