प्र॒जामृ॒तस्य॒ पिप्र॑तः॒ प्र यद्भर॑न्त॒ वह्न॑यः। विप्रा॑ ऋ॒तस्य॒ वाह॑सा ॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठप्र॒ऽजाम् । ऋ॒तस्य॑ । पिप्र॑त: । प्र । यत् । भर॑न्त । वह्न॑य: ॥ विप्रा॑: । ऋ॒तस्य॑ । वाह॑सा ॥१३८.२॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
प्रजामृतस्य पिप्रतः प्र यद्भरन्त वह्नयः। विप्रा ऋतस्य वाहसा ॥

Translation -
When the persons, responsible for carrying out the administration of state-affairs, fulfilling the laws of nature and the state, feed and nourish the subjects, like the husbands looking after the welfare of their wives, the learned and the intelligent people become the custodian of the rules and regulations of the state.
