दे॒वा इ॒मं मधु॑ना॒ संयु॑तं॒ यवं॒ सर॑स्वत्या॒मधि॑ म॒णाव॑चर्कृषुः। इन्द्र॑ आसी॒त्सीर॑पतिः श॒तक्र॑तुः की॒नाशा॑ आसन्म॒रुतः॑ सु॒दान॑वः ॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठदे॒वा:। इ॒मम् । मधु॑ना । सऽयु॑तम् । यव॑म् । सर॑स्वत्याम् । अधि॑ । म॒णौ। अ॒च॒र्कृ॒षु॒: । इन्द्र॑: । आ॒सी॒त् । सीर॑ऽपति: । श॒ऽक्र॑तु: । की॒नाशा॑: । आ॒स॒न् । म॒रुत॑: । सु॒ऽदान॑व: ॥३०.१॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
देवा इमं मधुना संयुतं यवं सरस्वत्यामधि मणावचर्कृषुः। इन्द्र आसीत्सीरपतिः शतक्रतुः कीनाशा आसन्मरुतः सुदानवः ॥

Translation -
Learned persons have again and again acquired through the force of Vedic knowledge and superiority, salvation, replete with sweet pleasure. An Acharya, the master of hundreds of noble deeds, and intellect is the main cultivator, and the charitably disposed learned persons are the laborious workers after salvation.

Acharya: Preceptor, Guru. Cultivator: An Acharya is an ardent seeker after salvation. Just as a peasant tills the land, sows the seed, and reaps the harvest of barley, so do the learned acquire through Vedic wisdom emancipation full of joy.
