अथर्ववेद - काण्ड 7/ सूक्त 6/ मन्त्र 1
अदि॑ति॒र्द्यौरदि॑तिर॒न्तरि॑क्ष॒मदि॑तिर्मा॒ता स पि॒ता स पु॒त्रः। विश्वे॑ दे॒वा अदि॑ति॒र्पञ्च॒ जना॒ अदि॑तिर्जा॒तमदि॑ति॒र्जनि॑त्वम् ॥

स्वर रहित मन्त्र
अदितिर्द्यौरदितिरन्तरिक्षमदितिर्माता स पिता स पुत्रः। विश्वे देवा अदितिर्पञ्च जना अदितिर्जातमदितिर्जनित्वम् ॥

Translation -
Immortal is the heaven. Immortal is the atmosphere. Matter the mother of all is immortal. Immortal is Father God. Immortal is the soul that nourishes the body. All divine objects are immortal. Five vital breaths are immortal. All that is born and shall be born is immortal because of its immortal cause.
Footnote -
God, soul, matter are by nature eternal and immortal. Other created things are as they are created again and again, and their cause is also immortal. Panch Jana may also mean. Brahmans, Kshatriyas, Vaishas, Shudras, and Nishadas, the barbarians. Panch Jana may also mean the five elements air, water, fire, earth and space.
