होता॑ यक्षत्स॒मिधेन्द्र॑मि॒डस्प॒दे नाभा॑ पृथि॒व्याऽ अधि॑। दि॒वो वर्ष्म॒न्त्समि॑ध्यत॒ऽओजि॑ष्ठश्चर्षणी॒सहां॒ वेत्वाज्य॑स्य॒ होत॒र्यज॑॥१॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठहोता॑। य॒क्ष॒त्। स॒मिधेति॑ स॒म्ऽइधा॑। इन्द्र॑म्। इ॒डः। प॒दे। नाभा॑। पृ॒थि॒व्याः। अधि॑। दि॒वः। वर्ष्म॑न्। सम्। इ॒ध्य॒ते॒। ओजि॑ष्ठः। च॒र्ष॒णी॒सहा॑म्। च॒र्ष॒णी॒सहा॒मिति॑ चर्षणि॒ऽसहा॑म्। वेतु॑। आज्य॑स्य। होतः॑। यज॑ ॥१ ॥

होता यक्षद्समिधेन्द्रमिडस्पदे नाभा पृथिव्याऽअधि । दिवो वर्ष्मन्त्समिध्यतऽओजिष्ठश्चर्षणीसहाँवेत्वाज्यस्य होतर्यज ॥

होता। यक्षत्। समिधेति सम्ऽइधा। इन्द्रम्। इडः। पदे। नाभा। पृथिव्याः। अधि। दिवः। वर्ष्मन्। सम्। इध्यते। ओजिष्ठः। चर्षणीसहाम्। चर्षणीसहामिति चर्षणिऽसहाम्। वेतु। आज्यस्य। होतः। यज॥१॥
Meaning -
Let the hota, man of yajna, offer faithful libations of holy materials, research and study in honour of Indra (agni, i. e. , energy, heat and light) enshrined in the divine Word, latent at the centre of the earth, blazing on top of heaven and thundering in the clouds. And such a yajna, shining with lustre and most brilliant among men of might and valour, would enjoy the most delicious gifts of life. Man of yajna, carry on the yajna, never relent.
