अतो॑ दे॒वा अ॑वन्तु नो॒ यतो॒ विष्णु॑र्विचक्र॒मे। पृ॒थि॒व्याः स॒प्त धाम॑भिः॥

Purport -
O the learned scholars! You should know that the Omnipresent God has created seven regions of the world including the earth, high and low places, in order to bear the fruits of bad and good deeds committed by living being and also for accommodating all the other objects of this creation. He also reavealed the Vedas composed in seven meters like Gayatri etc., which are a store-house of vast knowledge. The power with which He has manifested all the regions, with with the same efficacy He should protect us. O wise men ! You should protect us by imparting the teachings of Lord Vişnu. What like is that Vişnu? He is that who has created the whole universe in different ways. Always worship Him alone.
