ये ते॒ पन्थाः॑ सवितः पू॒र्व्यासो॑ऽरे॒णवः॒ सुकृ॑ता अ॒न्तरि॑क्षे । तेभि॑र्नो अ॒द्य प॒थिभि॑स्सु॒गेभी॒ रक्षा॑ च नो॒ अधि॑ च ब्रूहि देव ॥

Subject of the mantra - By the word ‘Indra” God has been preached in this mantra.
Etymology and English translation based on Anvaya (logical connection of words) of Maharshi Dayanad Saraswati (M.D.S)- -
He=O! (savitaḥ)=the creator of the whole world, [aura]=and, (deva)= giver of all happiness God! (tvam)=you, (kṛpayā)=kindly, (ye)=said earlier, (te)=your, (pūrvyāsaḥ)= The deeds done and serviced in the past, (areṇavaḥ)= in which nothing is as disturbing as the dust particles, (sukṛtāḥ)=well accomplished, [aura]=and, (panthāḥ=there are paths of tenet, (antarikṣe) =in the universe, (svavyāptirūpe)= in its pervading form, (varttante)=are, (tebhiḥ)=by them, (pathibhiḥ)= by that route, (sugebhiḥ)=go happily, (naḥ) = for us, (adya)=to day itself, (rakṣa)=follow, (ca)=and, (naḥ)=for us, (sarvā)=all, (adhi)= god given, (vidyā)=knowledge, (ca)=and, (brūhi)= preach.
English Translation (K.K.V.) -
O Creator of the whole world and who giver of all happiness God! You kindly, whatever you have said and done in the past, in which there is nothing like a particle of dust in the form of obstacles, these have been proven gracefully and are the path of righteousness and are in their pervasive form in the universe. Go through the above path happily. Follow for us today itself and give all the knowledge and God-given teachings for us.

O God ! You, who has created pure paths in the sky or your glorious world for the movement of the Sun and other worlds, in which the Sun-like worlds move according to the rules and all living beings move, preach the paths and qualities of all those things so that we can live here and there. Don't move there.
