Meaning -
This equator is the Earths extremist limit. This Adorable God imbued with qualities is the controller of the world. This efficacious Soma, the King of medicines is the strength of a stout person. This master of all the four Vedas is the highest abode for vedic speech.
-
Pt. Jai Chand, Vidya Alankar interprets Soma as the forces of nature like the sum fire, air, lightning, etc. which constitute the strength of the Mighty, Omnipresent God. He interprets वृष्ण: as Mighty, and अश्व as Omnipresent God. Rishi Dayananda translates वेदि: as equator, but Pt. Jai Chand Vidya Alankar and Griffith translate the word as alter.
