    हि॒र॒ण्य॒ग॒र्भः सम॑वर्त्त॒ताग्रे॑ भू॒तस्य॑ जा॒तः पति॒रेक॑ऽ आसीत्। स दा॑धार पृथि॒वीं द्यामु॒तेमां कस्मै॑ दे॒वाय॑ ह॒विषा॑ विधेम॥४॥

    हिरण्यगर्भः समवर्तताग्रे भूतस्य जातः पतिरेक आसीत् । स दाधार पृथिवीन्द्यामुतेमाङ्कस्मै देवाय हविषा विधेम ॥

    हिरण्यगर्भ इति हिरण्यऽगर्भः। सम्। अवर्त्तत। अग्रे। भूतस्य। जातः। पतिः। एकः। आसीत्। सः। दाधार। पृथिवीम्। द्याम्। उत। इमाम्। कस्मै। देवाय। हविषा। विधेम॥४॥

    Acknowledgment

    Purport -

    Even before the creation of the world, there existed an Incomparable [matchless, unparalled] Hiranyagrbhaḥ which is the womb of lustrous bodies like the sun, at first. He is the well-known Wise and active Protector and Master of the whole world from eternity. The same God creates and upholds the whole universe from the earth to the heaven. All of us should adore and worship the Supreme Soul, who is the Lord of all, by surrendering Him everything including our soul. We should never worship anyother object in His place in the least. It is evident that, he who forgetting God meditates upon any other object than He, then he and the whole country suffers untold miseries. Therefore, O Men! Be alert. If you are desirous of peace and happiness, then meditate upon One, formless God in the most-befitting manner, otherwise you will never, never be happy and prosperous in this world.
