वा॒युरनि॑लम॒मृत॒मथे॒दं भस्मा॑न्त॒ꣳ शरी॑रम्।ओ३म् क्रतो॑ स्मर। क्लि॒बे स्म॑र। कृ॒तꣳ स्म॑र॥१५॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठवा॒युः। अनि॑लम्। अ॒मृत॑म्। अथ॑। इ॒दम्। भस्मा॑न्त॒मिति॒ भस्म॑ऽअन्तम्। शरी॑रम् ॥ ओ३म्। क्रतो॒ इति॒ क्रतो॑। स्म॒र॒। क्लि॒बे। स्म॒र॒। कृ॒तम्। स्म॒र॒ ॥१५ ॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
वायुरनिलममृतमथेदम्भस्मान्तँ शरीरम् । ओ३म् । क्रतो स्मर । क्लिबे स्मर । कृतँ स्मर ॥
स्वर रहित पद पाठ
वायुः। अनिलम्। अमृतम्। अथ। इदम्। भस्मान्तमिति भस्मऽअन्तम्। शरीरम्॥ ओ३म्। क्रतो इति क्रतो। स्मर। क्लिबे। स्मर। कृतम्। स्मर॥१५॥
Translation -
Breaths go out to mix with the elemental air; the soul is immortal and the body is to end in ashes. Om. Now O sacrificer, think; think of the world full of enjoyments and think of the deeds you have done. (1)
Notes -
Idam amṛtam, this (the soul) is immortal. Śarīram bhasmāntam, the body is reduced to ashes in the end. Krato smara, कर्त: स्मर, Oman, who has acted throughout his life, think or remember. Also, O sacrificer. Klibe, कल्प्यते भोगाय इति क्लृप् लोकः, the worid full of enjoyments. Krtain, whatever good or bad you have done; your virtues and vices.
