अथर्ववेद - काण्ड 20/ सूक्त 12/ मन्त्र 3
यु॒जे रथं॑ ग॒वेष॑णं॒ हरि॑भ्या॒मुप॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि जुजुषा॒णम॑स्थुः। वि बा॑धिष्ट॒ स्य रोद॑सी महि॒त्वेन्द्रो॑ वृ॒त्राण्य॑प्र॒ती ज॑घ॒न्वान् ॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठयु॒जे । रथ॑म् । गो॒ऽएष॑णम् । हरिऽभ्याम् । उप॑ । ब्रह्मा॑णि । जु॒जु॒षा॒णम् । अ॒स्थु॒: ॥ वि । बाधि॒ष्ट॒ । स्य:। रोदसी॑ इति॑ । म॒हि॒ऽत्वा । इन्द्र॑: । वृ॒त्राणि॑ । अ॒प्र॒ति । ज॒घ॒न्वान् ॥१२.३॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
युजे रथं गवेषणं हरिभ्यामुप ब्रह्माणि जुजुषाणमस्थुः। वि बाधिष्ट स्य रोदसी महित्वेन्द्रो वृत्राण्यप्रती जघन्वान् ॥
स्वर रहित पद पाठयुजे । रथम् । गोऽएषणम् । हरिऽभ्याम् । उप । ब्रह्माणि । जुजुषाणम् । अस्थु: ॥ वि । बाधिष्ट । स्य:। रोदसी इति । महिऽत्वा । इन्द्र: । वृत्राणि । अप्रति । जघन्वान् ॥१२.३॥

Translation -
I (a devotee) unite my soul in deep meditation, with all the sense-organs fully engrossed, being impelled by Pran and Apan, the two powerful horses All the people worship the most Powerful Lord of the Vedas. The self-same mighty God, dispelling all forces of ignorance and darkness, upholds the earth and the heavens in a befitting manner.
