दे॒वीर्द्वारो॑ऽअ॒श्विना॑ भि॒षजेन्द्रे॒ सर॑स्वती।प्रा॒णं न वी॒र्य्यं न॒सि द्वारो॑ दधुरिन्द्रि॒यं व॑सु॒वने॑ वसु॒धेय॑स्य व्यन्तु॒ यज॑॥४९॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठदे॒वीः। द्वारः॑। अ॒श्विना॑। भि॒षजा॑। इन्द्रे॑। सर॑स्वती। प्रा॒णम्। न। वी॒र्य्य᳖म्। न॒सि। द्वारः॑। द॒धुः॒। इ॒न्द्रि॒यम्। व॒सु॒वन इति॑ वसु॒ऽवने॑। व॒सु॒धेय॒स्येति॑ वसु॒ऽधेय॑स्य। व्य॒न्तु॒। यज॑ ॥४९ ॥

देवीर्द्वारोऽअश्विना भिषजेन्द्रे सरस्वती । प्राणन्न वीर्यन्नसि द्वारो दधुरिन्द्रियँवसुवने वसुधेयस्य व्यन्तु यज ॥

देवीः। द्वारः। अश्विना। भिषजा। इन्द्रे। सरस्वती। प्राणम्। न। वीर्य्यम्। नसि। द्वारः। दधुः। इन्द्रियम्। वसुवन इति वसुऽवने। वसुधेयस्येति वसुऽधेयस्य। व्यन्तु। यज॥४९॥
Meaning -
O learned person, just as Air and the Sun, an educated wife, and physicians, for gain of wealth having secured the bright gates meant for going in and coming out, like breath in the nostril, gain strength, and master nine gates of the body, and for enjoying wealth, the wise gain the treasure of riches, so shouldst thou be conversant with all dealings.

Gates : -The gates of a well-ventilated house, in which air and suns rays enter, and people go in and come out like breath in the nostril. Nine gates. Nine parts of the body which are its gates, i. e. , two eyes, two ears, two nostrils, mouth, the penis and the anus.
