यजुर्वेद - अध्याय 22/ मन्त्र 17
अ॒ग्निं दू॒तं पु॒रो द॑धे हव्य॒वाह॒मुप॑ब्रुवे।दे॒वाँ२ऽआ सा॑दयादि॒ह॥१७॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठअ॒ग्निम्। दू॒तम्। पु॒रः। द॒धे॒। ह॒व्य॒वाह॒मिति॑ हव्य॒ऽवाह॑म्। उप॑। ब्रु॒वे॒। दे॒वान्। आ। सा॒द॒या॒त्। इ॒ह ॥१७ ॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
अग्निन्दूतं पुरो दधे हव्यवाहमुप ब्रुवे । देवाँऽआसादयादिह ॥

अग्निम्। दूतम्। पुरः। दधे। हव्यवाहमिति हव्यऽवाहम्। उप। ब्रुवे। देवान्। आ। सादयात्। इह॥१७॥
Translation -
I establish to the fire divine the foremost status of the messenger. I adore him as the bearer of the oblations; may he inspire Nature’s bounties to occupy their functional places. (1)
