स॒हस्र॑बाहुः॒ पुरु॑षः सहस्रा॒क्षः स॒हस्र॑पात्। स भूमिं॑ वि॒श्वतो॑ वृ॒त्वात्यति॑ष्ठद्दशाङ्गु॒लम् ॥

सहस्रबाहुः पुरुषः सहस्राक्षः सहस्रपात्। स भूमिं विश्वतो वृत्वात्यतिष्ठद्दशाङ्गुलम् ॥

Translation -
The All-pervading God has the power of a thousand arms, a thousand eyes, a thousand feet, penetrating the earth from all sides, he extends even beyond the ten quarters or the universe consisting of ten elements.
Footnote -
Thousand: innumerable Deshangulum—the world, made up of 10 parts, 5 gross, sky (आकाश), air (वायु), fire (अग्नि), water (जल), earth (पृथिवी); 5 subtle elements, speech (शब्द), touch (स्पर्श), sight (रूप), taste (रस), smell (गंध). It may also mean 10 quarters 4 main, 4 intervening, above and below. It may mean heart, the souls, abode in the body. Griffith translates it as a space often fingers, which is inappropriate in view of the infinite immensity of God.
