Subject - On our left side उदीची दिशा हमारे बांइ ओर
Word Meaning -
यह जो उत्तर दिशा में हमारे बाएं ओर वेगवान वायु द्वारा (पृथ्वी को) बींधने वाले प्रक्षेपित बाण हैं ( जिन के कारण यह प्रचंड प्रकाश दृष्टिगोचर होता है) वे हमे आनंद प्रदान करें . जिस के लिए सदैव श्रद्धा पूर्वक नमन कर के यज्ञाहुति अर्पित करते हैं.
(इस वेद मंत्र में ऋषियों ने पृथ्वी पर उत्तरी ध्रुव पर पृथ्वी से दृष्टिगोचर प्रचण्ड प्रकाश को देख कर चिंतन के आधार पर अंतरिक्ष में अपार विद्युत के स्रोत की कल्पना की थी. उसी भविष्यवाणी को आज का वैज्ञानिक यथार्थ में देखने का प्रयास करता दीखता है . आधुनिक विज्ञान के अनुसार आकाश में सूर्य द्वारा प्रक्षेपित अत्यंत वेग प्रचंड प्रकाश और गति से सूर्य की वायु समान उल्काएं Solar winds आती हैं . पृथ्वी के 100 किलोमीटर ऊपर उन के विस्फोट के परिणाम स्वरूप एक ध्रुवीय ज्योति का प्रकाश पुंज दिखाइ देता है . इस उत्तरी ध्रुव पर पृथ्वी से दृष्टीगोचर आकाश में दिखाइ देने वाले प्रकाश को ओरोरा बोरिआलिस-Aurora Borealis उत्तरीय ध्रुव प्रकाश नाम से जाना जाता है. यह ज्योति पुंज पृथ्वी और सूर्य में निरन्तर एक विद्युत प्रवाह द्वारा क्रियामान होता है. इस विद्युत प्रवाह का वेग 50,000 वोल्ट की 20,000,000 एम्पीअर करेन्ट तक माना जाता है. विख्यात वैज्ञानिक विद्युत के महान आविष्कारक निकोला टेस्ला ने लगभग 100 वर्ष पूर्व अपने अनुसंधान पर आधारित आकाश में इस अपरिमित विद्युत के भन्डार से पृथ्वी पर मानव की समस्त विद्युत की आवश्यकताओं को प्राप्त करने की भविष्य वाणि की थी.

(The aurora borealis (the Northern Lights) have always fascinated mankind. The solar wind and explosive events like coronal mass ejections (CMEs) carry solar plasma (primarily energetic protons) out in to the Earth’s orbit. Often, they interact with the geomagnetic field and spiral down toward the poles (where the magnetic field is directed). On interacting with the atmosphere, light is generated, producing the aurora.
Thus auroras, the north magnetic pole (aurora borealis) occur when highly charged electrons from the solar wind interact with elements in the earth's atmosphere. Solar winds stream away from the sun at speeds of about 1 million miles per hour. When they reach the earth, some 40 hours after leaving the sun, they follow the lines of magnetic force generated by the earth's core and flow through the magnetosphere, a teardrop-shaped area of highly charged electrical and magnetic fields. This phenomenon is said to take place above 100 Km of earth’s surface. All of the magnetic and electrical forces react with one another in constantly shifting combinations. These shifts and flows can be seen as the auroras lights "dance," moving along with the atmospheric currents that can reach 20,000,000 amperes at 50,000 volts. (In contrast, the circuit breakers in your home will disengage when current flow exceeds 5-30 amperes at 220 volts.)Tesla the famous inventor of AC electricity and induction motor had a favourite research topic bordering on science fiction.
