Purport -
O immortal souls! You do not know the Almighty God, who creates this earth and all these heavenly bodies i.e. who is the architect of the entire universe and living beings. You don't know Him due to the fact that you are enveloped in the mist of ignorance, and hence you advocate falsehood and atheistic nonsense. You idle away [waste] your time in gossips. Thus only misery will be your lot, not happiness. You are engaged in attaining your selfish ends and filling your own bellies, and only to enjoy sensual pleasures-worldy objects. You indulge in acts which are opposite to Vedic teachings. You go against the will teachings of Almighty God, who is Just, Omnipotent and Who has Created all the planets and bodies of living beings, therefore, you do not know him.
Question-Whether God and we souls are identical or not?
Answer-Oneness of God and soul cannot be or by the proved either by reason or by Vedās, because the difference of God and soul is there from the very beginning. Soul has blemishes like ignorance, while God is free from ignorance etc. Hence it is certain that God and soul are not one; neither they were identical in the past nor they shall be in future. However, there exists the relationship of pervaded and pervader, supported and supportor, served and server, between soul and God. Hence it is unreasonable on the part of anyone to consider God and soul identical.
