    किस्वि॒द्वनं॒ कऽउ॒ स वृ॒क्षऽआ॑स॒ यतो॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी नि॑ष्टत॒क्षुः। मनी॑षिणो॒ मन॑सा पृ॒च्छतेदु॒ तद्यद॒ध्यति॑ष्ठ॒द् भुव॑नानि धा॒रय॑न्॥२०॥

    किँ स्विद्वनङ्कऽउ स वृक्षऽआस यतो द्यावापृथिवी निष्टतक्षुः । मनीषिणो मनसा पृच्छतेदु तद्यदध्यतिष्ठद्भुवनानि धारयन् ॥

    Acknowledgment

    Purport -

    Question What is the original cause of true knowledge ! What is Vana-the forest or Jungle and what is called Vrksa-the tree.

    Answer-Just as a carpenter by his skill makes many kinds of things, similarly God-The Great Architect of the universe has created heaven i.e. where happiness abounds supreme, the earth-the middle region-sphere [where happiness and misery both prevail] and the hellthe lowest region which is full of pain and miseries; and Created other planets also. The primordial (existing from the beginning) atomic matter is Vana-forest and the material-cause is the tree.

    O the learned men! The Mighty Lord who creates, supervises and upholds [sustains] the whole universe and reigns supreme, enquire about Him, know Him, realise Him. By knowing Him alone man can attain happiness and prosperity, not otherwise.
