त्रीणि॑ प॒दा विच॑क्रमे॒ विष्णु॑र्गो॒पाऽअदा॑भ्यः।अतो॒ धर्मा॑णि धा॒रय॑न्॥४३॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठत्रीणि॑। प॒दा। वि। च॒क्र॒मे॒। विष्णुः॑। गो॒पाः। अदा॑भ्यः ॥ अतः॑। धर्मा॑णि। धा॒रय॑न् ॥४३ ॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
त्रीणि पदा वि चक्रमे विष्णुर्गोपाऽअदाभ्यः । अतो धर्माणि धारयन् ॥

त्रीणि। पदा। वि। चक्रमे। विष्णुः। गोपाः। अदाभ्यः॥ अतः। धर्माणि। धारयन॥४३॥
Translation -
The omnipresent God, preserver of the indomitable, created three regions — the earth, the mid region and the celestial. He sustains and preserves the sanctity of all vital functions that keep life ticking. (1)
Notes -
Triņi padā vicakrame, strode three steps, described as Agni, Vayu and Aditya. In legend, Visņu strode three steps and with them measured all the three regions of the universe. Also, created three regions.
