नि॒वेश॑नः स॒ङ्गम॑नो॒ वसू॑नां॒ विश्वा॑ रू॒पाभिच॑ष्टे॒ शची॑भिः। दे॒वऽइ॑व सवि॒ता स॒त्यध॒र्मेन्द्रो॒ न त॑स्थौ सम॒रे प॑थी॒नाम्॥६६॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठनि॒वेश॑न॒ इति॑ नि॒ऽवेश॑नः। स॒ङ्गम॑न॒ इति॑ स॒म्ऽगम॑नः। वसू॑नाम्। विश्वा॑। रू॒पा। अ॒भि। च॒ष्टे॒। शची॑भिः। दे॒व इ॒वेति॑ दे॒वःऽइ॑व। स॒वि॒ता। स॒त्यध॒र्मेति॑ स॒त्यऽध॑र्मा। इन्द्रः॑। न। त॒स्थौ॒। स॒म॒र इति॑ सम्ऽअ॒रे। प॒थी॒नाम् ॥६६ ॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
निवेशनः सङ्गमनो वसुनाँविश्वा रूपाभि चष्टे शचीभिः । देवऽइव सविता सत्यधर्मेन्द्रो न तस्थौ समरे पथीनाम् ॥
स्वर रहित पद पाठ
निवेशन इति निऽवेशनः। सङ्गमन इति सम्ऽगमनः। वसूनाम्। विश्वा। रूपा। अभि। चष्टे। शचीभिः। देव इवेति देवःऽइव। सविता। सत्यधर्मेति सत्यऽधर्मा। इन्द्रः। न। तस्थौ। समर इति सम्ऽअरे। पथीनाम्॥६६॥
Translation -
Establisher of the sacrificer in his house, and gatherer of treasures for him, the fire divine oversees all the creatures as well as their actions. He is true to law as the Creator God. As the resplendent Lord He stands fast apainst the adversaries in the struggle. (1)
Notes -
Nivesanah, निवेशति स्थापयति यजमानं य: स:, one that establishes the sacrificer (in his house or in his kingdom). निवेशंते अस्विन् इति निवेशन: in whom the riches reside or enter (Uvata). Dayünanda interprets this verse as pertaining to man and woman, and translates : निवेशन: ‘one who enters in à woman. ’ Saügamanah, संगमयति प्रापयतीति संगम:, one who Notes XII. 67 935 fetches wealth for the sacrificer. सम्यग् गंता, one who approaches a woman properly (Dayi. ). Satyadharma, true to law. धर्म duty, or law of universe. Pathinain, परिपंथिनां, enemies or advarsaries. पथिकानां, travellers (Daya. ). Pathways (Griffith).
