सूक्तम् - यक्ष्मारोगनाशन सूक्त
सीसे॑ मृड्ढ्वं न॒डे मृ॑ड्ढ्वम॒ग्नौ संक॑सुके च॒ यत्। अथो॒ अव्यां॑ रा॒मायां॑ शीर्ष॒क्तिमु॑प॒बर्ह॑णे ॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठसीसे॑ । मृ॒ड्ढ्व॒म् । न॒डे । मृ॒ड्ढ्व॒म् । अ॒ग्नौ । सम्ऽक॑सुके । च॒ । यत् । अथो॒ इति॑ । अव्या॑म् । रा॒माया॑म् । शी॒र्ष॒क्तिम् । उ॒प॒ऽबर्ह॑णे ॥२.१९॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
सीसे मृड्ढ्वं नडे मृड्ढ्वमग्नौ संकसुके च यत्। अथो अव्यां रामायां शीर्षक्तिमुपबर्हणे ॥

Translation -
Just as lead removes the dross of a metal, so purify the soul through the Zeal of God’s contemplation. Just as a sieve made of reed removes the chaff of flour, so purify thyself by passing thyself through austerity, the sieve of God. Just as dirt is burnt in an all-destroying fire, so purify thyself through the fervent devotion of God. Just as headache is removed by reclining on a pillow, so remove thy afflictions by resigning thyself to God, the Protector, and the Bestower of joy!
