ह॒वि॒र्धानं॒ यद॒श्विनाग्नी॑ध्रं॒ यत्सर॑स्वती। इन्द्रा॑यै॒न्द्रꣳसद॑स्कृ॒तं प॑त्नी॒शालं॒ गार्ह॑पत्यः॥१८॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठह॒वि॒र्धान॒मिति॑ हविः॒ऽधान॑म्। यत्। अ॒श्विना॑। आग्नी॑ध्रम्। यत्। सर॑स्वती। इन्द्रा॑य। ऐ॒न्द्रम्। सदः॑। कृ॒तम्। प॒त्नी॒शाल॒मिति॑ पत्नी॒ऽशाल॑म्। गार्ह॑पत्य॒ इति॒ गार्ह॑ऽपत्यः ॥१८ ॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
हविर्धानँयदश्विनाग्नीध्रँयत्सरस्वती । इन्द्रायैन्द्रँ सदस्कृतम्पत्नीशालङ्गार्हपत्यः ॥
स्वर रहित पद पाठ
हविर्धानमिति हविःऽधानम्। यत्। अश्विना। आग्नीध्रम्। यत्। सरस्वती। इन्द्राय। ऐन्द्रम्। सदः। कृतम्। पत्नीशालमिति पत्नीऽशालम्। गार्हपत्य इति गार्हऽपत्यः॥१८॥
Translation -
The twin-healers are, as if, the store of sacrificial supplies; the Doctress is, as if, the sacrificial fireplace. For the resplendent one is the sacrificial seat; for the householder's fire is a wife's mansion. (1)
Notes -
Havirdhanam, the store, where sacrificial supplies are kept. Āgnidhram, the place where sacrifical fire is kindled; sac rificial fire-place. Sadaḥ, seat. Garhapatyaḥ, householder's fire. Patnīšālam, wife's mansion.
