मनो॒ न्वाह्वा॑महे नाराश॒ꣳसेन॒ स्तोमे॑न। पि॒तॄ॒णां च॒ मन्म॑भिः॥५३॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठमनः॑। नु। आ। ह्वा॒म॒हे॒। ना॒रा॒श॒ꣳसेन॑। स्तोमे॑न। पि॒तॄ॒णाम्। च॒। मन्म॑भि॒रिति॒ मन्म॑ऽभिः ॥५३॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
मनो न्वाह्वमहे नाराशँसेन स्तोमेन । पितऋृणाञ्च मन्मभिः ॥

Meaning -
By reflecting on the merits of the learned, and following the high principles of the elders, we strengthen our mind through non-attachment.

Lives of great-men teach us many lessons. We should learn from and profit by the, experiences of great souls, and try to emulate them.
