अ॒ग्निर्मू॒र्द्धा दि॒वः क॒कुत्पतिः॑ पृथि॒व्याऽअ॒यम्। अ॒पा रेता॑सि जिन्वति॥१२॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठअ॒ग्निः। मू॒र्द्धा। दि॒वः। क॒कुत्। पतिः॑। पृ॒थि॒व्याः। अ॒यम्। अ॒पाम्। रेता॑सि। जि॒न्व॒ति॒ ॥१२॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
अग्निर्मूर्धा दिवः ककुत्पतिः पृथिव्या अयम् । अपाँ रेताँसि जिन्वति ॥

अग्निः। मूर्द्धा। दिवः। ककुत्। पतिः। पृथिव्याः। अयम्। अपाम्। रेतासि। जिन्वति॥१२॥
Meaning -
Men should worship God alone, who is the Great and Supreme Lord, who sustains the luminous Sun, and the non-luminous Earth, who knows the formation of the vitality of waters.
-
अग्नि means physical fire as well. Rishi Dayananda has given both the spiritual and physical interpretations of this mantra. I have chosen the former where Agni means God.
