यजुर्वेद - अध्याय 33/ मन्त्र 15
श्रु॒धि श्रु॑त्कर्ण॒ वह्नि॑भिर्दे॒वैर॑ग्ने स॒याव॑भिः। आ सी॑दन्तु ब॒र्हिषि॑ मि॒त्रोऽअ॑र्य्य॒मा प्रा॑त॒र्यावा॑णोऽअध्व॒रम्॥१५॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठश्रु॒धि। श्रु॒त्क॒र्णेति॑ श्रुत्ऽकर्ण। वह्नि॑भि॒रिति॒ वह्नि॑ऽभिः। दे॒वैः। अ॒ग्ने॒। स॒याव॑भि॒रिति॑ स॒याव॑ऽभिः ॥ आ। सी॒द॒न्तु॒। ब॒र्हिषि॑। मि॒त्रः। अ॒र्य्य॒मा। प्रा॒त॒र्यावा॑णः। प्रा॒त॒र्यावा॑न॒ इति॑ प्रातः॒ऽयावा॑नः। अ॒ध्व॒रम् ॥१५ ॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
श्रुधि श्रुत्कर्ण वह्निभिर्देवैरग्ने सयावभिः । आसीदन्तु बर्हिषि मित्रोऽअर्यमा प्रातर्यावाणोऽअध्वरम् ॥
स्वर रहित पद पाठ
श्रुधि। श्रुत्कर्णेति श्रुत्ऽकर्ण। वह्निभिरिति वह्निऽभिः। देवैः। अग्ने। सयावभिरिति सयावऽभिः॥ आ। सीदन्तु। बर्हिषि। मित्रः। अर्य्यमा। प्रातर्यावाणः। प्रातर्यावान इति प्रातःऽयावानः। अध्वरम्॥१५॥
Translation -
O adorable God, may you with your divine ears, please listen to my prayers. Let Nature's bounties like the sun and the morning breeze, and other morning glories appear and gracefully participate in the sacred performance of worship. (1)
Notes -
Śrutkarna, शृणुतः कर्णौ अर्थिनां वचांसि यस्य स श्रुत्कर्ण: तत्सम्बुद्धौ, one, whose ears listen to the prayers of devotees. Vahnibhiḥ devaih, alongwith the bounties of Nature, who carry the sacrificial offerings. Sayāvabhih, सह यान्ति ते सयावानः तैः, with those who always go together. Prātaryāvāṇah, who go in the morning. Also, to whom offerings are made in the morning. Barhişi sidantu, may be seated on grassmats. Also, बर्हि:: यज्ञ:, may participate in the sacred performance of worship. Mitro arymā, Mitra and Aryaman; and Varuna is implied and understood.
